PHoto gig on a bhp mine site as they lifted a header onto the structure.

Spoiler alert: It was pretty big!

This was the moment of months and even years of planning and preparation. They told me how heavy it was but even then I couldn’t really get a grasp of the number. The biggest issue was wind. It needed to be basically below gentle or it was too dangerous to proceed and of course there had been weeks of high winds and the job was postponed multiple times as we waited on the mine site. Then all of a sudden it was on! Before sun up as it was the stillest part of the day. That was great for me through, having a morning, side and back lit light source was incredible! And then, just as quickly, it was up. I think the lift only took a couple of hours at max.
